The polymer powder is produced by spray drying a polymer dispersion. Upon contact with water, the dispersible polymer powder particles will disintegrate and release the individual dispersion particles again. The dispersed polymer powder has the same characteristics as the original dispersion.
Meet today's technical requirements; almost all dry-mix mortars require polymer modification. Many cement mortars contain cellulose ethers as additives to improve water retention and workability. However, after curing and drying, their adhesion will be poor. In addition, cement mortar is a very hard, fragile and inflexible material, and for many applications, flexible and deformable cement materials are essential. Therefore, for almost all applications in modern buildings, the cement mortar must be modified with polymers.
